Recently our church Vista Community had a great sermon series on Exploring the Essentials, looking at what is in a theologically closed hand and what is in an open hand. This image of theology has stuck with me for a while so I decided to get it down on paper. It's a good reminder for me that the gospel is core to our lives and many other matters of theology are up for discussion, often having solid scholarship on both sides.
